CELEBRATE OUR FREEDOM AND HELP THE FAMILIES OF OUR FALLEN HEROES
UPDATE: The amount of support we have received for tomorrow's event is outstanding. Thanks to everybody who made this possible and thanks to TAPS charity for providing free t-shirts and other miscellaneous items available to everybody. We are also honored to host two Gold Star family members that will be attending our main event tomorrow.
Let's all remember who we are doing this for. It may be a small token of appreciation and comfort we are able to give to the families of countless heroes that died for the country we are lucky to have today, but we should not be deterred of doing so more often. Small actions will amount to bigger movements that will drive the change we want to see in the world.
If you are in the area tomorrow, consider dropping by and help the local community make a difference. You might even have fun :)
Saturday, May 20th, come celebrate with us our wonderful and hard earned freedom thanks to the sacrifice of countless heroes. We want to help the families of those that unfortunately, never made it back to their families and friends. We will be organizing several activities for your benefit and all proceeds will go towards The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). This charity organization offers compassionate care to all those grieving the death of a loved one serving in our Armed Forces. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24 hours a day, seven days a week through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones. (more info: www.taps.org).
